How to use

K2 Plugin

After the usual and simple Joomla extension install procedure you'll need to enable the "DM K2 Maps" plugin and set a basic configuration.

Basicly there are two ways to use K2 extrafields to show addresses: you can set an extrafield where you type the full adress for every item or you set various extrafields (Country, State, Zip Code, Street ...). DM K2 Maps supports both of them, for the full address you'll need to use the "Easy Extrafield IDs" param in the other side you'll have to use the "Multi Extrafields" params.

So, you'll need to have your K2 extrafields under an Extrafield Group linked to a K2 Category, just the usual K2 routine, and type their IDs in the correct DM K2 param (Easy Ids or Multi Extr.).

Component

The basic configuration of the component is the same of the plugin but you'll need to create a menu item and select "dmk2maps->Global Map" as Item Type.
